News – August 2008

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Many of our staff has been able to attend a several events at the Beijing Olympics and it has all been very exciting. The traffic disruptions have not affected us too much. Thanks to our donors we have several vehicles at our disposal to use on the even or odd number days. China has done a fabulous job of hosting the Olympics. This will be a hard act to follow.

Adoptions

Cyndi from Xinjiang province in the far Northwest of China, and Jenna from Hainan Island, the very South of China, have left us to be adopted.

We are encouraged by the fact that we are able to really change the lives of a small but steady number of children from so many parts of China.

Sara Jane from Henan province as also left us to be adopted.

All 3 have had surgery for their various birth defects and are now healthy and delightful little girls.

Jericho, whom we sent to HK to have plastic surgery, is being adopted to the US.

We will miss them all.
