Urgent Appeal for Harith

This is probably the 3rd time in 12 years that we have had to send out an urgent appeal for funds. Please consider this as an opportunity to help us save a child’s life.
Harith is a 1-month-old abandoned baby boy who was born with a connection between his esophagus (swallowing tube) and his trachea (breathing tube).
We don't know much of his history but it’s likely that he was fed milk soon after birth which ended up in his lungs causing a severe reaction and infection. He has been admitted to a local hospital twice and was still discharged to our care in the same condition. The local doctors have given up on him as his care will take a long time and he has a very difficult road ahead of him.
Every day, we take care of babies who will not make it, but we feel we are not ready to give up on Harith so soon. As far as we can see, he is a normal little boy who, if we can get him through this rough patch successfully, he would have an excellent chance to be in a loving family.
The only option we have at this time, is to bring him to Beijing to be under the care of competent doctors at Beijing United Family Hospital but the costs will be high, probably around US$100,000.
If any of you feel that you are able and willing to give this baby a chance by contributing to his medical care, we would be very grateful for donations of any amounts to save this child.
