New Jiaozuo
Special Care Unit,
Henan Province
This special care unit has been set up in a children’s welfare institute in Henan Province to care for babies that have severe deformities and are born with conditions that are incompatible with prolonged life.
This new unit will care for 36 babies in the new Jiao Zuo Children’s Welfare Institute.
The unit is staffed by New Hope Foundation employees with a resident foreign medical volunteer in charge. The babies that come to the unit will be comforted and fed and if they do die, they will do so in a loving enviroment.
