Love Without Boundaries Special Care Unit
Love Without Boundaries and New Hope Foundation are raising funds to build an extension to our Beijing Home. This will be called the Love Without Boundaries Special Care Unit and will help us increase our ability to care for more critically ill children both short and long term and provide them with essential physical therapy.
Since opening the Jiaozuo Special Care Unit, Henan Province on 1 January 2005, we are now presented with the need to care for critically ill and disabled children whom are very unlikely to be adopted.
The Henan Unit is designed to take in every baby whom the orphanage decides has very little chance of survival. Having given these children basic love, food, medical care and life saving surgeries, we find that we need more beds and also that physical therapy is necessary to give them the care they need.
